Job Title: Project Manager - Education and Events

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organised and dynamic Project Manager to join our team. This role involves overseeing and coordinating various projects related to online English classes, mental health workshops, and the Hazara Awards Night. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of these initiatives and delivering exceptional experiences for students, participants, and attendees.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Managing Online English Classes:

    • Communicate with students and the teacher to address any concerns, provide support, and ensure a positive learning experience.

    • Coordinate class schedules, assignments, and resources to facilitate smooth operations.

    • Assist in monitoring student progress and feedback, ensuring timely responses and appropriate follow-up.


  • Manage the Mental Health Workshop:

    • Identify suitable venues and confirm bookings for the workshops.

    • Coordinate logistical aspects, including arranging refreshments and necessary equipment.

    • Collaborate with workshop facilitators to design engaging and impactful program content.

    • Manage participant registration, communication, and inquiries.

    • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote workshop events.


  • Plan and Execute the Hazara Awards Night:

    • Identify and secure an appropriate venue for the event.

    • Coordinate all aspects of event management, including food arrangements, decorations, and audiovisual requirements.

    • Manage the nomination and selection process for award candidates.

    • Recruit and coordinate a panel of judges to evaluate award submissions.

    • Work with stakeholders to design an engaging program that highlights the achievements and contributions of the Hazara community.

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the event and ensure maximum attendance.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the education or events industry.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students, teachers, workshop facilitators, participants, and event attendees.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Proficiency in event planning and coordination, including logistics, vendor management, and program design.

  • Knowledge of online learning platforms and tools is desirable.

  • Familiarity with marketing strategies and techniques to promote events is a plus.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
